Chandrayaan-3 Creates History With Successful Landing On Moon Surface

In a historic moment for ISRO and India, Chandrayaan-3, after a 40-day journey starting from the Sathish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, has landed successfully. As per the updates, the Vikram lander has successfully tilted to a horizontal position ahead of safe successful landing.  With this, India became the fourth nation to successfully land on the Moon surface. Indians' prayers and hard work of ISRO paid off.

Chandrayaan-3 Soft Landing This Evening, All Eyes On ISRO Mission

The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) ambitious third Moon mission, Lander Module (LM) of Chandrayaan 3, is all set to land on the lunar surface today evening. Scientists are awaiting the soft landing, which would mark the success of the ISRO Chandrayaan-3 Mission. The Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft comprises a propulsion module (weighing 2,148 kg), a lander (1,723.89 kg), and a rover (26 kg).

Chandrayan 3 To Launch On July 14, Says ISRO Chief At G20

ISRO Chief S Somanath said Chandrayan 3 is set to launch on July 14 at 2:35 pm. The Third lunar Exploration mission will make a smooth and safe landing on the surface of the Moon on August 23, said Sonmanat. The remarks were made during the Space Economy Leader's Meet as part of India's G20 Presidency.  Besides discussing Chandrayan 3, the meeting also discussed space agency partnerships.
