PM Modi Salutes 'Nari Shakti' On The Occasion Of International Women's Day
On the occasion of International Women's Day, PM Narendra Modi extended greetings and said the government will keep its focus on empowering women through various schemes. Taking to Twitter Modi said, "On Women's day, I salute our Nari Shakti and their accomplishments in diverse filed." Later, at the women's saint's camp at Dhordo, PM will address a seminar on International Women's Day where 500 women saints will attend the seminar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Rani Velu Nachiyar, the first Indian Sivaganga queen who waged war against the British, on her birth anniversary, on January 3.
