The 26 participants of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance will meet in Mumbai on August 31, September 1. This third meeting of bloc, after Patna and Bengaluru is scheduled to strategies for the Lok Sabha election 2024. "Till now, only TWO meetings have been held in the past TWO months by the INDIA alliance. The meeting is said to be important, as it would define opposition's move.

In a recent political development, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Nitish Kumar held a meeting. Ahead of the 2024 National elections, the opposition parties are making efforts and uniting against the ruling BJP. In a historic event of Indian politics, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met with the Janata Dal United President and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. During the meeting, the duo discussed the national politics and strategies to play united in the 2024 General polls, which will decide the next PM of India.

BJP leader Sanjay Jaiswal took a personal dig at Rahul Gandhi and his origin. Addressing the media, Jaiswal said, "A person born to a foreign woman can never be a patriot." He further insulted Rahul Gandhi and his family with the personal attack saying, "He is upset with PM Modi." This is not the first time BJP leaders attacked Gandhi, previously Pragya Thakur also said Rahul Gandhi about his origin.

Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar said the Enforcement Directorate has turned down his plea for exemption from appearance before the agency in Delhi. Notably, ED asked Shivakumar to appear before them on October 7 in the National Herald money laundering case. However, he demanded an exemption and now would decide whether to appear before the agency after talking to his party leaders.
