Supreme Court Allows EWS, OBC Quota In NEET-PG Medical Counselling
The Supreme Court on January 7, has allowed the resumption of the NEET-PG 2021-2022 counseling process of admission. The Apex Court allowed 27% quota for Other Backward Classes and 10% for Economically Weaker Section, said bench led by Justices DY Chandrachud and AS Bopanna. They also accepted the income cut-off of Rs 8 lakh for the EWS quota as per the recommendation of Ajay Bhushan Pandey.

Doctors On Way To SC Blocks Road After Delhi Police Stops
The doctors from major hospitals, who're on strike, blocked a road leading to ITO because Delhi police stopped their march to the Supreme Court, on December 27. Reportedly, they're demanding to expedite the counselling of NEET PG 2021 qualifiers, adding around 50,000 doctors to government hospitals across India.
