34 School Going Children Capsized In Muzaffarpu, CM Assures Assistance
In a tragic incident in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, a boat carrying 34 school-going children capsized on September 14 morning. Close to 12 children are reported to be missing after the incident and are feared to have drowned. Police has reached the spot and NDRF has been acalled to the spot. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said, "DM Muzaffarpur is investigating the incident and assured assistance to the families of the victims.

Fishermen Arrested For Catching Dolphin & Eating It Illegally: UP
Four fishermen, allegedly from Naseerpur village have been booked for allegedly illegally catching a dolphin from the Yamuna river and eating it. Notably Chail forest ranger Ravindra Kumar lodged a complaint with the police after a vistor captured a video of fishermen taking the dolphin on their shoulder, which went viral. Acting upon the registered case, the police arrested the four and launcged a detailed investigation.

UP Govt Bans Strikes In All State-Run Departments Up To 6 Months
Under the Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1996, the Uttar Pradesh government has banned all strikes in government departments for the next six months. The decision came after the central trade unions called a nationwide strike from November 26, to be joined by few state unions too. The notification stated that violators will be arrested without a warrant and may face imprisonment for one year and/or a fine of Rs 1,000.
