Tennis Star Novak Djokovic Admits Breaching COVID-19 Norms

Novak Djokovic has opened pandora's box after admitting that he met a journalist for an interview two days after he tested positive on December 16. Djokovic won a legal battle a few days back that permitted him to stay in the nation, yet he is facing the possibility of expulsion since he's not immunized against COVID-19. He further stated that his agent made an error in the travel form.

As Djokovic chased his 21st major and a calendar-year Grand Slam, he struggled against Brooksby, the 99th ranked player who threw a challenging start. However, for the second time in a row, the world's number one struggled to keep going in the first set.

However, Djokovic's next target is to complete all four major Grand Slam and create history after Don Budge and Rod Laver. "Obviously his goal and our goal is to win the Olympics and then win the Grand Slam. That would be the absolutely top of this year," said coach Marian Vajda.

With this victory, Nadal improved his head-to-head clash with Djokovic to 28-29 out of their 57th meeting overall. Besides, he also earned his 88th tour-level title, surpassing Djokovic (82), in the list of most titles in open era since 1968.
