British PM Johnson Unhappy With Cricketer Ollie Robinson's Suspension
British PM Boris Johnson on June 7 condemned England and Wales Cricket Board's decision of suspending pacer Ollie Robinson for his alleged historical racist and sexist comments. Johnson's spokesperson said, "These were comments made more than a decade ago written by someone as a teenager and for which they have rightly apologised." Earlier, on June 6, Robinson was banned from all formats of international cricket.

England's Ollie Robinson Faces International Cricket Ban Over Racism
The England Cricket Board on June 6 announced the permanent suspension of Ollie Robinson from all formats of Internatioinal cricket for his alleged "racist and sexist" tweets. However, the cricketer had issued an apology when the controversy emerged right on the day of his test debut on June 2. Although English captain Joe Root praised Robinson's debut performance, he called his off-field actions "not acceptable".
