Kerala Expects Heavy Rainfall; IMD Issues Orange, Yellow Alert
Expecting heavy rainfall in the Kerala region, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued 'yellow' as well as 'orange' alert on June 15 & 16. Several districts in the state such as Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasargod districts have been issued an orange alert. However, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Alapuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad districts have been alerted for yellow.

Mumbai Rains: IMD Issues Red Alert For June 13
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in Mumbai for June 12 and a red alert for June 13, due to a heavy rainfall. The civic control rooms and other agencies including the power utility firms like BEST and Adani have been issued a notice of "high alert". Squads from NDRF and Navy are made ready to assist in case of an emergency.

IMD Issues Orange Alert For Delhi; Forecasts 'Very Heavy' Rains
Issuing an orange alert due to western disturbances in Cyclone Tauktae, the Indian Meteorological Department on May 19 forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall in various places of Delhi. IMD also cautioned of uprooting of trees and water-logging in low lying areas. Already received 1.8 mm rainfall and predicted wind speed up to 60 kmph, the rainfall is expected to decrease by May 20.
