OTT Release

After 'Jubilee' success, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane is now all set to come up with two politically-charged series. He has collaborated with Applause Entertainment, led by Sameer Nair for the same. As per sources, the first, titled 'Indi(r)a’s Emergency', is a three-part docu-series. The second series is an adaptation of the book "Black Warrant – Confessions of a Tihar Jailer" authored by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury.

Not only fans, but Bollywood actor Vijay Varma also expressed happiness to be on a good side, with his upcoming OTT project "Kaalkoot". He said, "I'm glad I was on good side this time." In the much-awaited series, Varma, who has gained fame for negative roles, is seen playing a cop. As per the released trailer, Vijay Varma would play a good cop, chasing to solve a crime incident. 

The recently released "JugJug Jeeyo" is now available on the OTT platform, streaming on Prime Video, from July 22. The Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor's family drama was released on June 24, across India. The film at the end of week three has a lifetime collection of Rs 83.12 crore. Moreover, the film is a tale of two married couples of different generations struggling post-marriage issues.

The makers of Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer ''Jersey'' dismissed the rumours of reports of OTT release of the film. Reportedly, the rumours were doing rounds on the internet since the makers cancelled the released date of the film for an indefinite time. The film was postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases and ''new covid guidelines''. Earlier, it was scheduled to release on December 31.
