MHA Gave Sanction To Prosecute Manish Sisodia In Snooping Case
In a major setback for Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs gave sanction to prosecute Sisodia in an alleged 'feedback unit (FBU) snooping case. On February 22, the BJP-led Union Government issued a notice, saying Manish Sisodia will be prosecuted under the Prevention of Corruption Act. It is to be noted, the AAP member Sisodia is alleged of snooping in FBU, set in 2015.

Supreme Court Lifts Ban On Maharashtra's Bull Race
The four-year ban on bull race in Maharashtra was lifted by Supreme Court on December 16. The ban was lifted as per the Maharashtra amendments to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA). Notably, the Bombay High Court had refused to lift the ban in 2017. However, the validity of the amendments by Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu governments are pending before a constitution bench since 2018.
