Marathi Actor-Director Ravindra Mahajani Found Dead In His Apartment

Noted Marathi actor and director Ravindra Mahajani was found dead at his rented apartment in Pune. His mortal remains were recovered from a flat in Pune's Talegaon Dabhade locality after neighbours complained of 'foul smell' emanating from the apartment, on July 14. According to cops, Mahajani, aged 74, had been staying alone in the Pune flat until his unfortunate demise. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

Rajasthan: 19 Year Old Dalit Girl Gang Raped, Accused Threw Acid On Face

In Rajasthan's Karauli district, a Dalit girl was raped and murdered, brutally. On July 14, the police confirmed the incident and said, the 19-year-old girl was gang-raped. Telangana: 1st Year PUC Student At IIIT Basara Ends Life

Bengaluru: Daughter Kills Mother, Surrenders To Police With Stuffed Body

In another shocking incident, a Bengaluru girl allegedly killed her mother and surrendered herself to the police. The police said, 35-year-old physiotherapist from West Bengal, walked into the police station around 1:00 pm, on June 12 and confessed that she had killed her mother. She surrendered to the police with a suitcase, in which she stuffed the victim's body. The girl committed the crime amid constant fights with her mother.

Kerala: 8 Year Old Dies After Phone Exploded On Her Face

Yogi Adityanath Receives Death Threat, Police Launches Investigation

The Lucknow Police registered a case against an unidentified person, in Uttar Pradesh.  Getting into details, the case was registered after the CM Of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath received a death threat. The threat was received via message on 'Dial 112' (a number launched by the Uttar Pradesh government for the emergency services), in which the person stated, "I will kill CM Yogi soon".
