In Rajasthan's Karauli district, a Dalit girl was raped and murdered, brutally. On July 14, the police confirmed the incident and said, the 19-year-old girl was gang-raped. After the rape, the accused allegedly threw acid on her face and killed her. In a tragic incident, an MBBS student of Kurnool College in Andhra Pradesh, allegedly committed suicide. Reported on June 26, the victim identified as Lokesh was found hanging from the ceiling fan. In Telangana's Basara IIIT, a first-year student of PUC allegedly committed suicide. The victim, identified as Deepika (17) reportedly hanged herself in the hostel washroom in the wee hours of June 15. The college administration found Deepika's body and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. The police registered a case and suspected mental strain, as Deepika was suffering from mental issues, taking extreme step.

After the threat call was received, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a befitting response to the unidentified people. Addressing the media, Yogi said, "There is no place for any mafia dons or criminals in Uttar Pradesh. There is no place for corruption and the corrupt either."  Notably, Yogi Adityanath-led BJP started a campaign for the UP Local Body elections, following which he received a threatening call.

The Lucknow Police registered a case against an unidentified person, in Uttar Pradesh.  Getting into details, the case was registered after the CM Of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath received a death threat. The threat was received via message on 'Dial 112' (a number launched by the Uttar Pradesh government for the emergency services), in which the person stated, "I will kill CM Yogi soon". The police is investigating the matter.
