Nupur Sharma Skips Kolkata Police Summon; Says, Couldn't Make It Due To 'Death Threats'
Suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma who was reported "untraceable", has sent a mail to Kolkata police, seeking four weeks of time to appear physically. Skipping Kolkata police summon on June 20, she stated that her life is in danger, and hence couldn't make it. Furthermore, West Bengal assembly has passed a motion condemning Sharma's controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad.
