Prasar Bharati Bars Employees From Talking To Media Without Permission
Prasar Bharti has barred all the employees of All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan (DD) from interacting with media without prior permission from "the competent authority". Prasar Bharti had issued two such orders earlier also - first in November 2019 and second in February this year. Prasar Bharati To Support Government's Education Scheme; Launches 51 Education Channels
Prasar Bharati signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in-order to support the Government's Education scheme, and will launch 51-educational channels. Prasar Bharati Discontinues Association With PTI, UNI
Citing rationalization of expenditure, Prasar Bharati (PB) has planned to discontinue subscriptions to services of PTI and UNI.
