Prasar Bharati Bars Employees From Talking To Media Without Permission

Prasar Bharti has barred all the employees of All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan (DD) from interacting with media without prior permission from "the competent authority". Prasar Bharati To Support Government's Education Scheme; Launches 51 Education Channels

Prasar Bharati signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in-order to support the Government's Education scheme, and will launch 51-educational channels. As per the MoU, 22 Swaymprabha channels, 12 e-Vidya channels for classes 1 to 12 under the NCERT syllabus, 16 Vande Gujarat channels and one Digishala channel will be launched. Prasar Bharati Discontinues Association With PTI, UNI

Citing rationalization of expenditure, Prasar Bharati (PB) has planned to discontinue subscriptions to services of PTI and UNI.
