Bihar's Katihar Mayor Allegedly Shot Dead, Probe Launched
In what is regarded as a high-profile murder, a 38-year-old mayor of Katihar in Bihar was allegedly shot dead near his residence at around 9:30 pm on July 29. Reportedly, the mayor was returning from a meeting while three men chased and shot him down. However, no arrests have been made and a probe is underway. Besides, Sadar SDPO Amarkant Jha said, ''None is ready to say anything currently".
