Supreme Court Turns 71; Virtually Heard 43,713 Cases During COVID-19

Turning 71 on January 28, the Supreme Court in its statement said it has been protecting rights and liberties while abiding to the rule of law and constitutional values since its genesis in 1950. The court stated it was functional for 231 days in 2020, which is above the minimum 190 sittings a year.
