Bollywood Star Salman Khan Plants Saplings In Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan took part in "Green India Challenge" with MP J Santosh Kumar. On June 22, he planted saplings at Ramoji Film City,in Hyderabad. He visited the city for his film shooting and was accompanied by his film crew. Speaking on the occasion, he said that every person should take the responsibility for the plantation programme and also take adequate care of the saplings until they grow."

1 Lakh Saplings To Be Planted On Environment Day in Assam's Golaghat
On the occasion of World Environment Day, villagers of Dhansiri area in Assam's Golaghat district have joined hands with the Forest Department and Administration to plant one lakh saplings, on June 5. Reportedly, the saplings will be planted in the Tengani Dui Noi Mukh area. Sarupathar constituency MLA Biswajit Phukan said that they have planned to plant at least 15 lakh saplings during his tenure.
