Security Tightened In Ayodhya: Babri Masjid Demolition Anniversary
Security was tightened in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya in view of the Babri Masjid Demolition Anniversary on December 6. Identity cards of those entering Ayodhya are being checked. The police force is on alert on the roads of Ram Janmabhoomi. ''The situation is much calmer in Ayodhya as compared to December 6, 1992,'' said Ramanand Shukla, Principal at a local school in Ayodhya.

Army Chief Reviews Security Preparedness In J&K's Poonch & Rajouri
Amid the counter-infiltration operations in Jammu and Kashmir, Army Chief General M M Naravane reviewed the security preparedness in Rajouri and Poonch districts in the state on October 19. The Army chief arrived on a two-day visit in Jammu on the afternoon of October 18. Reportedly, nine security personnel have lost their lives so far during the combat against terrorists in the state.

Zoom To Tighten Security With End-To-End Encryption
Addressing the security concerns, Zoom has announced that it will provide an end-to-end encryption feature for video-conferencing of upto 200 people. Atal Tunnel Sees Three Accidents Within 72 Hours; Security Ramped Up
Himachal Pradesh's Atal Tunnel has reported three accidents within 72 hours of its inauguration on October 3. However, a Border Roads Organisation official has cited the careless driving of tourists as the reason. Reportedly, the police are taking measures to improve traffic and security management and one battalion has been moved to the tunnel. J&K DGP Directs Officials To Wield More Muscle Against Terrorists
While mentioning that many jawans and officers have sacrificed lives to "maintain peace in the valley", J&K DGP Dilbag Singh said, "It's time to exert more pressure on the terrorists and their supporters."
