The siddipet region of Telangana got a modern slaughterhouse. On June 15, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Ministers KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao inaugurated the slaughterhouse. Puli Raju is a 48-year-old government school teacher from the Siddipet district of Telangana. Raju began work in 2002, and meticulously documented the farmer suicides in his region. He traced the victims and visited the aggrieved families to offer them support. “I am trying to provide them with ration, financial support, education material for children, and other assistance,” he added.

Narayana, an 80-year-old man was rescued by Telangana's Siddipet district police after he slipped into a well and survived for nearly three days. The senior citizen fell into the well while he was returning home by foot after attending an event on June 29. However, he managed to survive without food for three days and was rescued by the police when a farmer heard his cry for help.
