Delhi Court Summoned Brij Bhushan Sharan In Wrestlers Sexual Assault Case

In a recent development, the Delhi Court summoned Wrestler's Federation India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on July 18. Notably, BJP MP and WFI Chairman is accused of sexual harassment charges and a case is registered against him. Vinod Tomar, suspended assistant secretary of the WFI was also summoned by court, which said there are enough evidence against the accused. The development came days after the Wrestlers' protest.

Zaka Ashraf To Take Over As PCB Chairman

In a development, Zaka Ashraf is set to be named as the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board after Najam Sethi officially resigned from his position as the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and withdrew himself from the race to become the next board chairman. WFI Election To Be Conducted On July 6, No Relative Of Brij Bhushan To Contest

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has appointed retired High Court Judge Mahesh Mittal Kumar to oversee the electoral process for the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI.) The WFI nominations will begin on 23 June and the final list of candidates will be announced on 2 July. The contest will be for various WFI positions including President and VP. Furthermore, no relatives of Brij Bhushan will be allowed to contest elections.
