PCB Demands Compensation From Asian Cricket Council
The Pakistan Cricket Board on September 6, demanded compensation from the Asian Cricket Council for the loss of gate money it has suffered due to Asia Cup matches being held in Sri Lanka. Although the PCB has not issued any official statement on the matter, some media outlets here have reported that the board's chairman Zaka Ashraf has sent a formal letter to the ACC president Jay Shah, demanding compensation

BCCI Receives Huge 38.5% Of ICC Revenue, PCB Is Upset
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the revenue share percentages of the USD 600 million pool. The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) expectedly got the biggest chunk, earning a whopping USD 230 million, which comes out to be 38.5 percent of the overall ICC revenue. In addition, the rival Pakistan Cricket Board received an amount of USD 34.51 million in the 2024-27 cycle, which is 5.75% of the pool.

Zaka Ashraf To Take Over As PCB Chairman
In a development, Zaka Ashraf is set to be named as the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board after Najam Sethi officially resigned from his position as the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and withdrew himself from the race to become the next board chairman. With the exit of Najam Sethi, Zaka, a former Board Chairman would make a comeback and hold the position.

Former Captain Younis Khan Becomes Pakistan's Batting Coach
The Pakistan Cricket Board on November 12 appointed former captain Younis Khan as the national team's batting coach. As per reports, he will be carrying the responsibility until the Twenty20 World Cup in 2022. Khan stated that he was very much interested in it and would enrich the talent of "local batsmen". The 42-year-old was the only Pakistani to score more than 10,000 Test runs.

No India-Pakistan Cricket Match Unless Political Relations Stabilise: PCB
Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ehsan Mani has announced that there can be no bilateral cricket series with India unless political conditions normalise. He also said BCCI would not be requested to allow Pakistani players to play in IPL. “At this moment I don't have any intention of playing any T20 league with India,” he added. It has been more than eight years since both sides have played on either soil.

All is Well Between BCCI and PCB Says Ehsan Mani: Cricket
The board of International Cricket Council (ICC) met on August 10, to discuss on the election for the next ICC chairman. Following Shashank Manohar's resignation from the post on June 30, Deputy Chairman Imran Khwaja will hold it off until a new person is elected. Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ehsan Mani said that, "there was absolutely no rift between PCB and BCCI at the Directors meeting".
