Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa Not Going To Resign: PMO Rejects Rumours
Sri Lanka Prime Minister's Office (PMO) rejected rumours that PM Mahinda Rajapaksa is to step down as the nation's PM, on January 4. "There is no truth whatsoever to the stories appearing on both mainstream and social media that PM Mahinda Rajapaksa is going to step down," said Rohan Weliwita, PM's Media Secretary. Furthermore, the PMO said that these speculations are being spread to mislead the public.
