Haryana Govt To Distribute Free Tablets To Grade 8-12 Students

Haryana state education minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar on May 28 announced to distribute free of cost tablets to around 8,06,000 students studying in classes 8 to 12. The project is an initiative to aid online studies for students in government schools in the state and will cost Rs 500 crore on state exchequer. Interestingly, the students will receive the tablets irrespective of their category or family background.

Telangana To Push Digital Learning With QR-Code Embedded Textbooks

Telangana's School Education Department has incorporated QR-codes in all secondary level State-syllabus textbooks for 2021-22 academic year. The code will help students obtain digital content available on specific subjects via the Union Education Ministry's 'Diksha' app. Additionally, Telangana is developing T-SAT-enabled audio-visual content to supplement the Digi-books.
