Delhi HC Dismisses Petition Demanding NEET-UG Postponement
Delhi High Court (HC) dismissed a plea filed demanding postponement of NEET-UG 2022. During a hearing on July 14, the single bench of Justice Sanjeev Narula lashed out at the students saying, "This is totally a misconceived petition." Expressing anger over students, the court said, because the petitioners are students, the HC will not be harsh, otherwise they would have faced serious consequences, including fines.

Students Go For Picnic, 2 Drowns In Thane, Maharashtra
The Maharashtra police informed three different drowning incidents in Thane, on July 12. In one such incident, 3 students of 12 while on a picnic, drowned in the Ambernath area. Two of the students went for a swim in the Ambe river nearby and one of them started drowning to save them, others also jumped. The rescue force saved other students. However, two, Nikhil Kanojia and Ankit Jaiswal drowned.

31 Students Test COVID-19 Positive In Tamil Nadu Government School; School Temporarily Closed
