China Barring Entry For COVID-Origin Investigating Team: WHO Chief
The WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed his disappointment over Chinese stance of not allowing experts to investigate the origins of COVID-19. In a virtual news conference on January 5, Dr. Tedros stated that he has made it clear to China that this mission is on "priority for WHO". Stressing on the months long negotiations over the entry of teams into China, he added that he trusts China and will resolve the issue quickly.
