Delhi Landlord To Get Back Shop After 50-Year-Old Legal Battle Against Tenant

The Supreme Court on March 25, passed a judgment in favor of Delhi-based landlord to reclaim his possession in Connaught Place after a 50-year-old legal battle with tenants. In addition, the shop was first rented out to a proprietor in 1936. "A sum of Rs 1 lakh shall be remitted to the appellant within one month from the date and Rs 12 lakh within six months,” stated the bench

‘Islamophobic’ Ad for Mumbai Flat Creates Stir on Social Media

A Mumbai flat owner Unmesh Patil’s ad, posted on Facebook with a condition that tenant 'should not own a pet or be a Muslim', has created stir on social media. Journalist Rana Ayyub shared the post and commented, “This is 20th Century India. Remind me we are not a communal nation, tell me this is not apartheid?" The post gained more than 8000 attractions on Twitter.
