Mutant COVID-19: India Extends The UK Fights Ban Till January 7
Amidst the new COVID-19 strain fear spreading in the country, the Centre on December 30 extended the ban on flights originating from the UK till January 7. Ban On Flights From UK Likely To Be Extended: Civil Aviation Minister
Citing the new COVID-19 strain, the Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on December 29 informed that India will probably extend the flight ban from Britain. However, he said that the final call on this matter will be taken after couple of days. Earlier, on December 22, the Union government decided to ban all flights originating from the UK up to December 31, 2020.
