Medical Student Shot Dead In Ukraine: Indian Govt
Twenty-year-old Indian student was killed in Ukraine, on March 1. MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted, "With profound sorrow we confirm that an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning. The Ministry is in touch with his family. We convey our deepest condolences to the family". Student identified as Naveen Shekharappa, hailed from Karnataka and was a fourth year student at Kharkiv National Medical University.
