Anurag Thakur Criticises MLAs Joining SP, Calls Them Rioters: UP Assembly Polls
BJP leader Anurag Thakur, criticised MLAs and leaders joining the Samajwadi Party. On January 16, while joining of Asim Arun into the BJP, Thakur said, "people joining SP do riots and people joining BJP catch rioters". The statement came over BJP MLAs's switching parties. He also welcomed IPS Officer Asim Arun and said, "BJP will move forward with his experience". Notably, UP elections are scheduled from February 10

'I'm A Woman, I Can Fight', Says Priyanka Gandhi In A Rally Held In Gorakhpur
At a recent election rally held in Uttar Pradesh on November 5, Priyanka Gandhi asked the crowd to repeat after her: "I'm a woman, I can fight". The slogan was made to show the power of women in elections, and to revive the Congress party's fortune in Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state. Besides, the party aims to defeat BJP in the U.P elections by 2022.
