Vostok 2022

China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is scheduled to take part in strategic command and staff exercise Vostok-2022 in Russia, informed China’s Defence Ministry. Also, India, Belarus, Tajikistan and Mongolia will reportedly participate in the exercises. China’s defence ministry further stated that the upcoming event has no relation to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Further details on the matter are awaited.
