Toyota Kirloskar's Factory Workers Go On Strike, Company Terms It Illegal

Toyota Kirloskar has termed the strike at its Bidadi factory as illegal. Reportedly, the company claimed that the sit-in-strike by over 1200 workers at the company premises was unlawful. Shell Plans To Shift To Low Carbon Energy; To Axe 9,000 Jobs

Oil and gas company, Royal Dutch Shell, on September 30 announced its plans to cut almost 9,000 jobs as the company is intending to move to low-carbon energy. Reportedly, the company eyes to add atleast $2 billion to the annual savings by 2022 with removing 10% of the manual workforce. The company's decision was attributed to the drop in demand for oil and gas due to the pandemic.
