Twitter Account of Chinese Virologist Claiming Virus Spread from Wuhan Suspended

Twitter on September 15 suspended the account of Chinese virologist Li-Meng Yan, who claimed that the deadly-virus COVID-19 spread from Wuhan. However, the Twitter has not clarified the reasons for taking her account down. Reportedly, Yan moved out of China, and has asserted that she has proofs to support her claims. Recently, Yan has claimed that the COVID-19 is a man-made virus.

Coronavirus is Man-made and Originated in Wuhan, Asserts Chinese Researcher

Calling the coronavirus as man-made, Chinese virologist and researcher Dr Li Meng-Yan asserted that the virus originated from a lab in Wuhan. She also told that she has evidences to prove her claim. "The genome sequence is like a human fingerprint. Based on this you can identify these things," she said. Earlier, the researcher had alleged that China was trying to cover-up the virus outbreak.
