CM Jagan Mohan Reddy & 2 Others Summoned By Special Court: Andhra Pradesh
The Special Sessions Court for trial of MPs and MLAs has issued summons to Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and two others. The court directed the three of them to appear on March 28, in connection with a 2014 case. Reportedly, a case was registered against the trio for organising a road-show during 2014 assembly elections, allegedly without obtaining prior permission from the authorities, reported PTI.

AP CM YS Jagan Launches Improved AP Seva Portal 2.0 For Citizens
Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on January 27, launched "AP Seva Portal 2.0". The improved version of AP Seva Portal was inaugurated to provide better government services to the citizens in a transparent manner. During the launch at YSRCP Camp office, CM Jagan said, since 2020, the village/ward secretariats provided over 540 services to nearly 3.6 crore people.

Andhra Govt Plans To Withdraw Three Capitals Law
The Andhra Pradesh Government under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to withdraw the controversial three capitals law on November 22. The law demands three capitals for the state. The state cabinet also passed the Repeal Bill which will soon be introduced in the state Legislature, reported PTI. The High Court has also been informed about the development.

After winning 502 Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTC) and 5998 Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTC) in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) registered a landslide victory in the local body polls. The result was announced on September 20 at 2 AM. This win provides YSRCP a stronghold over Parliament, the State body, and now the local body.

BJD, YSRCP May Be Part Of Anti-BJP Coalition, Says Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee indicated on July 28 that BJD and YSRCP, which were skeptical of taking a side, may join the anti-BJP coalition ahead of the 2024 elections. "The BJP may be big in size, but the Opposition will be stronger from the political angle," she said. Though Banerjee avoided the question of leadership in the opposition front, she recognized the importance of Congress in it.
