Andhra Pradesh Government extended ongoing night curfew, till February 14. Amid the third wave of COVID-19, the YSRCP Government decided to extend the curfew, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The Andhra Pradesh Government under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to withdraw the controversial three capitals law on November 22. The law demands three capitals for the state. The state cabinet also passed the Repeal Bill which will soon be introduced in the state Legislature, reported PTI. The High Court has also been informed about the development.  

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee indicated on July 28 that BJD and YSRCP, which were skeptical of taking a side, may join the anti-BJP coalition ahead of the 2024 elections. "The BJP may be big in size, but the Opposition will be stronger from the political angle," she said. Though Banerjee avoided the question of leadership in the opposition front, she recognized the importance of Congress in it.
