US: Gorillas Tests Positive For Coronavirus At San Diego Zoo
In the first-ever known case in primates, two gorillas at San Diego Zoo Safari Park have tested positive, and another showed symptoms for COVID-19. Besides, five others were suspected of infection. Suspicion surfaced when several gorillas were seen coughing after coming in contact with a COVID positive member of the park's wildlife care team. The zoo officials said, "We are hopeful for a full recovery".
