Mumbai: Engineer Arrested For Helping Flyers Illegally Skip Quarantine
The Mumbai Police on January 16 arrested an engineer for allegedly helping air-passengers to skip mandatory institutional quarantine by providing fake documents at Rs 4,000.The 35-year-old accused, Dinesh Gawande, was caught with Rs.1.4 lakh cash, fake rubber stamps stating home quarantine, 200 Saudi Riyals, and letterheads signed by doctors of private hospitals. Reportedly, he was posted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on December 23 by the BMC.
