RT-PCR -ve Report Compulsory For Interstate Travellers To Bengaluru
Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar notified all interstate travellers to Bengaluru should mandatorily present a negative RT-PCR test report from April 1. Reportedly, the decision was made immediately after Union Health Ministry labelled Bengaluru as the only city outside Maharashtra with the highest number of cases. Moreover, quarantine stamping and the Quarantine watch app will be re-implemented to contain the infections. Notably, interstate travellers account for over 60% of COVID cases in Bengaluru.
