US House Passes Bill To Ban Imports From China's Xinjiang
The final version of the Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act, demanding a ban on the import of goods made by persecuted labour in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, was passed by the US House of Representatives. Approved on December 14, it's now been sent to the Senate for consideration. Reportedly, China forces Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Tibetans, and persecuted groups here to produce ''textiles, handicrafts, shoes electronic and food products''.
