Delhi HC Restricts Schools from Charging Annual and Development Fees
Delhi High Court held that schools cannot charge the annual and development fees from the parents of the students until the schools reopen. The schools contended that annual and development fees are being charged since lockdown has been completely lifted. The court held that, since schools physically haven't reopened yet, the said fees cannot be charged. However, parents have to pay the tuition fees. The next hearing on the matter will be on September 16.
