Rafale Jets Inducted to IAF; 'Strong Message to the World', Says Rajnath Singh
The Rafale Aircrafts were inducted to the Squadron 17 of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on September 10. The ceremony was witnessed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and French Minister of Armed Forces, Florence Parly. The induction included a 'Sarv Dharma Pooja', followed by an air display by Rafale, the Tejas jets, and the 'Sarang Aerobatic Team.' "The induction of Rafale is a strong message for the world and especially for those who challenge India’s sovereignty," tweeted Rajnath Singh. He also said that the presence of the French Minister at the ceremony is a reflection of a strong India-France defense partnership. India has ordered 36 Rafale jets from France, out of which, five were delivered in July.
