World Bank Hints Increase In Child Mortality Rate In Developing Country
World Bank President David Malpass has estimated a 45% increase in child mortality rate in developing countries. He stated that health service shortfalls, inadequate access-to-food and the pandemic, are the major factors influencing the increase. He added that the World Bank is taking initiatives to help the countries and opined that, in future, developing countries could face problems as there has been trouble in rendering education during the pandemic.
