Ahead Of Festivals, PM Modi Urges Citizens To Celebrate Responsibly
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his October 20 address, urged Indian citizens to celebrate the upcoming festivals with responsibility. The PM reminded that only the lockdown has gone but the battle against the virus is still not over. He requested the citizens to wear masks always and wash hands regularly to remain protected from the virus. He mentioned that efforts to develop the COVID-19 vaccine have been intensified, and assured to vaccinate the whole country as soon as possible. PM Modi also pointed out that the recovery rate of India is much better than the developed countries like the US. Besides, he informed that about 10 crore tests have been conducted and over 2000 COVID testing labs are operational as of now.
