2 Cases Of New COVID Strain Found In Karnataka; TAC Says There Is 'Nothing To Panic'
According to reports, Karnataka government is considering enforcing new rules in light of the discovery of novel COVID-19 variant AY.4.2. Technical-Advisory-Committee (TAC) refuted all claims indicating that the state may be placed under lockdown. TAC Chairman Dr. M K Sudarshan stated that there is "nothing to panic." Two cases of AY 4.2 had been discovered in BBMP region and that all of the patients' contacts have recovered from the virus.
