After President Kovind Refuses To Meet, Punjab CM Decides To Stage Protest
After the President Ram Nath Kovind denied to meet Punjab CM Amarinder Singh-led delegation, the latter has announced to hold a protest on November 4 at Rajghat, Delhi. The meeting was requested to secure the President's assent for the Punjab government's amended farm bills that will nullify the Centre's agriculture laws. Calling the President's refusal "unconstitutional", Captain Amarinder announced that dharna will begin after a gathering at Delhi's Punjab Bhawan.
