Amitabh Bachchan Becomes First Indian To Be Selected For FIAF Award
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been selected for 2021's International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) award, becoming the first-ever Indian celebrity to merit the honour. The federation unanimously selected the actor for relentlessly contributing towards preserving the world's film heritage, besides actively amplifying the cause. Notably, renowned Hollywood filmmakers and former awardees, Martin Scorcese and Christopher Nolan, will confer the award to Big B in a virtual ceremony slated for March 19.
