Australian Swimmer Shayna Jack's 4-year Doping Suspension Halved
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on November 16 halved the four-year suspension of the Australian swimmer Shayna Jack. The court found Jack "innocent" as she unintentionally ingested the banned substance. The 22-year-old swimmer was handed the ban in July 2019 after traces of Ligandrol, a banned performance-enhancing anabolic drug, was found in her samples. However, she will not be able to compete in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.
