B'luru Airport Cab Drivers' Same Fare Demand Rises As Driver Suicides
The Bangalore airport cab drivers' demand for ‘One Airport, One Fare’ has surfaced again after the suicide of a 34-year-old Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation driver. Reportedly, the pandemic-stricken cab drivers have been facing the double flak of increased fuel prices and over 50% slashed footfall at the Kempegowda International Airport. The drivers claimed that due to high KSTDC fares, the passengers prefer cheaper options of Ola and Uber.
