Chela Pant's Capitals Smashes Guru Dhoni's Super Kings By 7 Wickets

Touted as an encounter between the Guru (MS Dhoni) and Chela (Rishabh Pant), match 2 of the IPL 2021 was a piece of cake for the Delhi Capitals. Encashing the opportunity after winning the toss, Capitals bowled first and sent back CSK's openers quite early. However, Suresh Raina made a valiant comeback in CSK as he treated the fans with a dazzling 36-ball 54-run knock before getting trapped into an unfortunate run out. Raina's inning was well-supplemented by Moeen Ali and Sam Curran's ardent knocks to push the CSK's total to 188 runs on the scoreboard, albeit skipper MS Dhoni went out for a duck. Chasing the target, Capitals' openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw destroyed the CSK's bowling line-up with their 138-run partnership and sealed the game for DC. Later, DC captain Pant hit the winning runs and secured a 7-wicket victory for the team, making it Capitals' third consecutive win against Super Kings in IPL matches.
