Drinking Cold Water Does Not Increase Body Weight: Nutritionist
Nutritionist Pooja Makhija suggested that one must drink water no matter if it is cold or hot. Busting myth that drinking cold water causes weight gain, she cited a medical journal and explained that, in reality, it helps in losing weight. Moreover, she also said drinking water in the morning helps in flushing out bacteria and harmful toxins from the body. Besides, intake of sufficient water can normalise blood pressure and prevent low urination.
