First Himalayan Serow Spotted; Forest Officials Start Tracking
Few residents of Manali’s Hurling village for the first time have spotted the Himalayan Serow - a threatened species - in Great Himalayan National Park, Kullu and Chamba region. Forest conservator Anil Thakur believed that it might have wandered from its habitat Rupi Bhawa Wildlife Sanctuary. After spotting the animal, the forest department has called its officials led by DFO Hardev Negi to keep a track of the threatened animal.
