FSSAI Bats For Baked, Grilled And Steamed Food Over Fried Ones
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), while suggesting ways to control oil intake, stated that baked, grilled and steamed food should be preferred over fried foods. In order to get all essential fatty acids, one must use a combination of oils, the FSSAI added. However, it also cautioned that excessive oil intake can lead to adverse health conditions like stroke, diabetes, heart attack, and unhealthy weight gain.
