Google Plans to Pay News Publishers For Using Their Content
Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that the company has planned to pay $1 billion to the news publishers for using their content. As of now, Google uses the content without paying news organizations for their efforts in curating the news. Reportedly, about 200 publishers from various countries have registered for the Google News. Pichai said, "This financial commitment, our biggest to date, will pay publishers to create and curate high-quality content."
